Light on My Steps

Like dew that silently descends upon the earth, this new day opens before me.

Lord Jesus, I welcome Your presence in the breath of dawn and thank You for the gift of life.

Your light dispels the first shadows, and my heart fills with hope.

Support my thoughts today and guide my choices.

Lead me with Your wisdom in both small and great steps.

Grant me strength to face what is to come and peace in my soul in the face of difficulties.

In Your love I entrust every action and open myself with trust to the path You prepare.

I remain steadfast in Your light.
