Praise to Jesus, Friend of the House of Bethany

Today I think of families, of those who give love and welcome every day.

Lord Jesus, I praise you for the house of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, a sign of friendship and service.

Your presence lights up each of our days, just as it did in that beloved house.

Give us a hospitable and attentive heart, able to see your face in every brother and sister.

I want to remember that true joy is born in your friendship.

May our home shine with trust and hope, like Bethany with your friends.

Be our strength on today’s journey.

In your embrace, I entrust all those I love.
