In the Silence of Saint Ignatius

As the evening gently embraces creation, I feel Your presence bringing peace to my heart.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for every gift received today, for the guided steps and the light experienced in encounters.

I also give thanks for the hardships and for all that made me grow in Your love.

Saint Ignatius, faithful servant, teach me humility and devotion, so that my day may be a genuine offering.

I entrust my worries and my night to Your peace, merciful Father.

Watch over me and those I love with Your benevolent hand.

Kindle in my heart the hope and joy of belonging to You.

This evening I entrust myself to You, who are rest and light.
