Sustain Me in Fragility

I thank You for every opportunity this afternoon brings me, for the light that still illuminates my path, and for the chance to catch my breath.

Lord Jesus, faced with my small struggles and the limits I recognize in myself, I feel the need for a strength that is not my own.

At times I waver and weariness emerges, but I trust that You are near and lift me up with Your presence.

Give new heart to my commitment, renew my hope even when the burden grows, and gently soothe every discouraged thought.

In Your embrace I find peace and trust, certain that even in fragility You write goodness.
