Renew My Path as the Day Advances

Like the light that spreads over the city streets, hope is renewed in the weary heart.

Grant me consolation in the time that remains, welcome every effort of those who work, support those who feel alone or discouraged.

Let my presence be a source of support for those I will meet this afternoon.

Give relief to the sick and to all who carry thoughts of fear.

Protect those who build peace, even in the simplest gestures.
