Merciful Father, thank you for this bright afternoon.

Look into my heart and grant me your peace in the rhythm of the hours.

Today, inspired by the example of Saint Dominic, I ask you to kindle in me the light of truth and love.

Strengthen those who work and carry hidden burdens; comfort those who feel alone or discouraged.

I entrust to you, Lord, my family, the Church, and the people I will meet.

May I, like Saint Dominic, be an instrument of compassion and hope.

I trust in your faithful presence.
