Light of St. Lawrence in the Heart of the Night

Thank you for letting me live this day, with all its challenges and its gifts.

Lord Jesus, guide me now in the silence of the evening, when everything calms and I can entrust my heart to you.

I thank you for the courage of your martyrs and for the shining example of St. Lawrence.

Grant me discernment to see the truth in every choice and strength to serve with love as he did.

Make my night peaceful, protect those I love, and bring peace to restless hearts.

I entrust myself to You, certain that Your light never leaves me.

Renew my faith and safeguard my hope.
