Guidance and Light for the New Day

Today I am grateful for the gift of this new day and for the breath that awakens me to life.

Guide me, Lord Jesus, in the small and great steps that await me.

Grant me light in my choices and wisdom in my words.

Strengthen my heart in difficulties and protect my mind from fears.

Let me serve with love those I meet.

Sustain my faith when I falter and renew my hope every hour.

I entrust myself to You with confidence, sure of Your presence.
