New Light of Mercy

Thank you for the gift of this new morning and for every breath you grant me.

Lord Jesus, walk beside me today and guard my heart in Your peace.

I entrust to You those I love: may my family be protected by Your goodness and sustained by Your light.

I pray for those who begin this day in pain or loneliness: grant courage and hope.

Guide my steps towards acts of understanding and brotherhood.

Teach me kindness and the will to help every person I meet today.

Your love accompanies every beginning; in Your presence everything is transformed for good.

Renew in me trust and strength to face this day with faith.
