Thank You for This Day Spent

Thank you from my heart for the gift of this day and for every encounter I have experienced.

Lord Jesus, I praise you for every small good received and for the lessons I learned today.

I entrust to you the thoughts that accompany me and the burdens I feel in my heart.

Now grant peace and serenity to my rest.

Protect my family and those I love under your care.

Help those who tonight feel alone or are afraid of tomorrow.

Renew in me the trust in your infinite goodness.

I remain in your hands this night, certain of your faithful love.
