Light for Every Step

Thank you for this new day that comes as an unexpected gift.

Lord Jesus, along with the morning light, receive my heart as it opens in trust.

I praise You for the colors of the dawn and for the breath that awakens me.

May every moment be an opportunity to recognize Your love that accompanies me.

Guide my thoughts and enlighten the choices I will have to make today.

Grant me discernment to understand what is good and strength to act with courage and kindness.

Protect those I love and those I will meet; may I bring peace to those around me.
