Light and Faithfulness of John the Baptist

Like dew on the grass in the morning, your mercy descends upon us.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving us the shining example of John the Baptist, faithful even unto martyrdom.

I praise you for the strength of witness, a sign of truth and love.

Let my heart remain steadfast in faithfulness even through trials today.

Grant me courage and gentleness in speaking of the Gospel.

I entrust my day to You, every thought and deed.

Watch over my family and those who seek truth.

Protect those who struggle for justice today.

Accompany the journey of those who follow You in simplicity.

Bless every step of those who open themselves to Your light.
