Grateful Heart for the New Light

Thank you for giving me the gift of this new day.

Lord Jesus, I welcome you as the sun rises over the city.

I give thanks for life, for breath, and for every encounter that awaits me today.

I entrust to you my fears and what I do not understand.

Guide my steps toward goodness and protect those I love.

Grant my heart the strength to love with humility.

Help me to recognize your presence today.
