At the End of the Day, a Trusting Heart

Tonight my thoughts go to those who, in silence, seek comfort and peace.

A special embrace rises for those who are alone, for those suffering in body or soul.

Grant peaceful rest to those who have carried invisible burdens today.

Be with those who work and keep watch through the night.

I offer the small gifts and efforts of this day.

All that I was unable to accomplish, I entrust with humility.

Under the mantle of the Good Mother, I place this night in trust.
