In the Silence of the Heart

In the silence of this afternoon, my heart becomes attentive.

Lord, I thank You for every hidden gift in this day.

I entrust to You those who are struggling at work, granting them comfort and hope.

I think of families marked by restlessness; renew their trust.

Support those who carry burdens of hardship; revive the light in their eyes.

I offer to You my journey and my encounters.

Grant me to be a presence of peace for those around me.

Guide me with Your gentle hand.
