Merciful Father, thank You for this day You have given me.

Every moment has been precious in Your eyes.

I thank You for the joys and also for the difficulties, signs of Your presence in my life.

I entrust to You my tiredness and today’s worries.

Grant serenity to my heart and peace to my home.

Protect those I love in the silence of the night.

Guide me with Your light even as I rest.

In You I find refuge and tranquility.
