In the silence of the morning, everything opens in expectation.

The heart listens to the beat of growing light.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for this new day.

Illuminate my steps and make me faithful to what is good.

I entrust to you the toil and the challenges I will encounter today.

Grant me the strength to serve others with joy.

Protect me from evil and nourish my hope.
