Merciful Father, I thank you for the gifts and encounters of this day.

Your love is reflected in the small joys you have scattered along my path.

I welcome the calm of the evening as an embrace of hope and rest.

Lord Jesus, comfort the wounds I carry in my heart, grant healing to those who suffer, and light to my inner shadows.

Renew my trust and lay your peace upon my fears.
