Grateful for the Gift of Life

Today I give thanks for the embrace of a new day.

Lord Jesus, thank you for every breath you grant me.

I thank you for the light that accompanies me from the morning.

I entrust to You my steps, my hopes, and my hardships.

Give strength to my heart and protect my loved ones.

Guide me in kindness, teach me to choose peace.

With trust, I entrust myself to You, in the serenity of one who knows they are loved.
