Inspired by the Example of Saint Matthew

Tonight I think of those who bear the weight of loneliness and those waiting for a word of hope in their family.

Saint Matthew, you who left everything to follow Jesus, intercede for those who struggle to find trust and light.

Lord Jesus, grant peace to those who are restless and courage to those who feel lost.

Help me live my day with a merciful gaze towards others.

Grant serenity to weary hearts.

Protect our homes as we sleep and make tomorrow brighter for everyone.

Watch over those I love and those who suffer.

Accompany us in our rest with your blessing.

Amen. 🌿
