In the Evening Silence with Saint Jerome

Like dew falling on thirsty fields, tonight my heart seeks peace, Lord.

I thank You for every step of the day and for the light You have given.

Help me in my weakness to understand Your Word, as Saint Jerome did.

Grant my spirit serene rest and a mind open to Your teaching.

I entrust to You my labors, joys, and fears, trusting in Your mercy.

In the darkness of the night, fill my soul with light and hope.

In You rests my trust.

Amen. 🌿
