Resting in Your Light

Thank you for every step I was able to take today, whether small or great, in your light.

Lord Jesus, I entrust my evening to You.

Grant me peace in my heart as everything falls silent around me.

In the quiet of this night, renew in me trust and hope.

Once again I place my trust in Your faithfulness that comforts and sustains.

Grant me serenity in my thoughts and protect those I love as they rest.

Remain by my side even in the darkness, so I may sense Your presence.

Good Mother, accompany this act of entrustment and cover me with your smile.
