A Heart as Simple as Francis

On this new day, renew the light in the hearts of those I will meet and bring comfort to those who suffer.

Lord Jesus, let my gaze be as pure as that of Francis.

Teach me to love simplicity and to recognize Your presence in small gestures.

Guide me gently towards goodness, make me an instrument of peace and joy for those close to me.

Strengthen my trust when my steps become uncertain.

Protect my family and all my brothers and sisters.

Grant me discernment for every choice.
