Trust at the Dawn of the Heart

Like the dew that settles silently, I welcome the light of this new morning.

I give thanks for the gift of another day, for the breath that renews my hope.

Guide, Lord Jesus, my steps and my thoughts along every road I will walk today.

Give me strength when the path becomes uncertain, and courage in the little decisions.

Sustain me as I face challenges, and help me to recognize the good in the people I will meet.

To You I entrust this day, certain that Your hand never abandons me.

Protect me and those I hold in my heart.
