Thank You for the new day that begins, for the gift of life and this light that welcomes me.

Merciful Father, guide my steps and fill my heart with goodness.

Grant me strength to face every trial I will encounter today.

Protect my mind and keep my actions from evil.

Allow me to recognize Your presence in every brother and sister I meet.

I entrust to You every thought and every desire of my heart.

In You I trust and walk peacefully into this day.
