I think of those I meet today, of the struggles and smiles that fill our afternoon.

Merciful Father, I want to praise you for your presence that lights up every path.

You sustain the heart in every task and revive hope even when the journey feels heavy.

You are the light that renews our strength and brings joy to what seems difficult.

I bless your name for the simple joy you give in little things.

Kindle your goodness in our actions, shine in our thoughts and in our words.

I rejoice in your faithfulness, which guides this afternoon as well.

Keep safe those who read and grant relief in work and in trials.
