Lights in the Night

Like the moon watching over weary steps, your love consoles me this evening.

Welcome, Lord Jesus, my heart and the hearts of those who have experienced pain today.

Grant peaceful rest to the families I am holding in my thoughts and enlighten with your presence those who are going through the night of loneliness.

Sustain those who suffer in silence and those who, today, have lost hope.

Guide my thoughts toward peace, watch over our Church and all humanity in your hands.

Stay close to me and to all who seek light in the darkness, so that we may confidently surrender to your loving gaze.
