Thank you for the steps I have taken today and for every encounter you offer me.

Lord Jesus, walk beside me in this afternoon that lies ahead.

Renew my strength when fatigue arises and grant me patience in my work and thoughts.

I entrust to you the difficulties and small successes of these hours.

Make my heart steadfast in hope and faithful in goodness.

Bring light to my actions and peace to my words.
