In the Silence of the Guarded Heart

In the silence that descends upon the evening, I welcome the peace that envelops every thought and breath.

I give thanks for every encounter, for the joys and the difficulties that gave meaning to my day.

O Lord Jesus, at the close of this journey I entrust to You my steps and those of my family.

With a gentle heart, I pray to You for those who suffer in loneliness and for those who cannot find rest today.

Protect the world in Your mercy, accompany those who are in need of hope.

Good Mother, I entrust to You all the expectations of the night.
