Joy of the New Day

Merciful Father, thank you for giving me this new day.

I thank you for the gift of life and for all that awaits me.

I entrust my steps, my thoughts, my heart to you.

Give strength to my hands and protect my mind.

Guide me, Lord, in my choices and fill every encounter with peace.

Teach me to recognize goodness, even in the small things.

Help me bring light where I encounter darkness.
