Light of the Advancing Day

Lord Jesus, source of all good, I praise You for Your living presence in my afternoon.

Renew Your light within me when fatigue begins to set in.

Support my heart in small challenges and in the thoughts that trouble my soul.

Pour Your joy into my actions, even when they may seem insignificant.

Make me capable of bringing hope and smiles to those around me.

I entrust every desire and every hidden doubt to You.

Watch over those I love and grant peace to those who feel alone.

Be my strength and my peace.
