In Rest I Entrust Myself to You

Lord Jesus, at the end of this day I thank you for every small gift and for Your presence that has accompanied me.

In the silence of the evening I recognize my fatigue and my weaknesses, but I also feel Your nearness that comforts and illuminates every shadow.

Now I entrust every thought and every worry to You, asking for Your peace upon my heart and upon the people I love.

Protect my rest, grant me serenity and renewed hope for tomorrow.

Stay with me in sleep, guard me in Your love.

Good Mother, watch over me this night.
