Rest in Your Peace

Merciful Father, I thank you for every gift of this day and for the people your love has brought into my life.

With a serene heart I entrust to you those who have suffered today and I wait for you to bring comfort to the lonely and the sick.

I pray for my family and for all who will feel fear tonight, grant us your protection.

Support the Church on its journey so that it may be a light and refuge for many.

Receive my weariness and fill us with your peace, Lord.

In the silence of the evening, renew my trust in You.

In You I rest, certain of your love that never abandons.
