In Your Cross, Hope and Light

Lord Jesus,

in the silence of this afternoon

I contemplate your sacrifice on the cross.

You gave everything,

holding nothing back,

out of love for us.

Teach me to love like this,

to forgive even when it hurts,

to give myself without fear.

In your suffering I find salvation,

in your love I find life.

Stay with me,

today and always.
