Merciful Father, this evening I turn to You.

Receive my weary heart and bring relief to my inner wounds.

In the silence of the night, renew hope and trust within me.

Console those who suffer and illuminate the darkness of my soul.

May Your peace fill my thoughts, may Your presence be a sure refuge.

Fill me with courage and gentleness to face difficulties.

You are the comfort that accompanies every night, O Lord.

I entrust myself to Your goodness and rest beneath Your loving gaze.
