Merciful Father, I entrust to you this day that is coming to an end.

I thank you for every step taken, for the good received and given.

I pray for those who this evening carry pain or loneliness in their hearts; reach them with your peace.

Support the families going through difficult times and give comfort to those who have lost hope.

Guide those who watch over the sick or work through the night.

Give serenity and rest to my fears, and light the path of those I love.

Good Mother, to you I entrust my night and the night of the world.
