Light for My Steps Today

Thank you for the precious gift of this new day that is beginning and for the life you have entrusted to me.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge your presence and entrust myself to your guidance.

In the green of this morning, lead my thoughts towards the light.

Grant me discernment to recognize what is good, strength to choose what is right, and courage in difficulties.

Illuminate each of my steps and protect those I love in every action and word.

May your love be my first thought and my hope today.
