Merciful Father, I praise you for the gift of this afternoon.

I thank you for the shining witness of St. Mark, faithful evangelist.

Give strength to those who are struggling with work or facing difficulties throughout the day.

Guide my thoughts and actions towards goodness.

Keep alive within me the hope you have kindled through your Word.

I entrust to you, Lord, my dreams and aspirations, so that they may become instruments of good.

Illuminate the steps of those who seek truth and comfort.
