Refuge of Hope in the Night

Thank you for every moment lived today and for the patience that has surrounded me.

Lord Jesus, embrace my heart and soothe what still aches inside me.

Grant healing to my wounds, both visible and hidden.

Your peace consoles me and gives me breath.

I entrust my fears to you, confident that You watch over me even when all becomes silent.

In Your love I find comfort; in Your light I find serenity again.

I place myself in Your hands, certain of your protection through the night.

Grant me restful sleep and the hope that tomorrow will bring new strength.
