Open today the heart of those I carry in my mind and in my relationships, give hope to those who begin this day in difficulty.

Merciful Father, I thank you for the gift of life and family.

Give light and strength to the sick, the elderly, and those who are alone.

Help everyone to recognize love in struggle and in small gestures.

Accompany us in new encounters and protect my steps and those of every brother I will meet today.

Support us in doing the good you ask of us.

Today I entrust myself, together with those I love, to Mary's gentle embrace.
