Hope That Heals the Heart

Thank you for the gift of this new day and for the breath with which you sustain me in love.

Lord Jesus, lay your hand upon those who are wounded in spirit, grant comfort to those who are discouraged.

Pour peace and new hope into my heart, drive away fear and sadness from me.

Make me an instrument of comfort for those I will meet today.

Guide my steps toward the light of goodness.

I welcome your presence and gently entrust myself to your embrace.

May your mercy be upon me, now and always.
