I Entrust Every Step to You

In the silence of dawn, everything becomes quiet around and within me.

Lord, I thank You for this new day that is beginning.

Give me light for the choices that await me today, strength to face what I do not know.

I ask You to guide my heart in faithfulness and love toward others.

In work, in study, in encounters, may You be my support.

I entrust to You my fears and my desires, trusting in Your sure hand.

Protect and accompany me and those I carry in my heart.
