Upward with the Risen Jesus

Merciful Father, this evening I turn my heart to You.

I give You thanks for every gift of this day and for the light of the Ascension, a sign that Your Son is always near us.

Jesus, bring with You my joys and my frailties.

I entrust to You those who suffer, those who seek hope, and those who feel the lack of love.

I pray for families and for peace in the world.

Stay with us even in the evening, grant peace and restful sleep to those who read this prayer.

Guard our dreams and accompany our steps toward Your light.
