Light and Strength for Today

Thank you for the gift of this new day and for the chance to begin again.

Lord Jesus, I praise you for every breath and for the light that fills my life.

I thank you for the people I meet and for the small joys you ignite in my heart.

I entrust my steps to you, so they may be guided by your goodness.

Give me strength in my struggles and protect those I love under your watchful gaze.

Guard my thoughts and make this day an opportunity for good.

Accompany my actions with your peace.
