Day of Gratitude

Merciful Father, today I wake up and thank you for the gift of a new beginning.

I praise you for the light that fills my day and for the breath with which you sustain me.

Thank you for your silent presence that accompanies me.

I entrust to you my fears and my hopes, knowing that you are beside me.

Guide me in my choices, give strength and patience to my heart.

Protect those I love and all whom I will meet today.

Let your will be done in everything.
