Comfort Me in My Weariness

Thank you for every breath you have given me today and for the small gestures of hope I encounter as I walk.

Lord Jesus, even in the afternoon I feel the need for your presence.

In my weariness, stretch out your hand and grant peace to my restless heart.

Refresh my mind, comfort those who are sad, and fill with hope those who feel lost.

Illuminate my actions, lighten every burden, comfort those who are alone, and bring joy where there is no light.
