In Your Presence, Bread of Life

Thank you for the silent gift of this day that is coming to an end.

Lord Jesus, in the mystery of Your given Body I entrust myself to You.

Bring peace to my heart where there is restlessness.

Grant rest to confused thoughts and light to the wounds of the soul.

Help me to feel Your nearness, which comforts and sustains.

Watch over me and those I love in the darkness of the night.

I place my hopes in You, sure that tomorrow will be illuminated by Your mercy.
