Beginning of Light and Conversion

Lord Jesus, at the start of this Lent I thank you for the gift of a new day.

Illuminate my path with Your grace.

Through the sign of ashes, remind me of Your mercy and my need to be reborn in heart.

Help me to live every encounter today with simplicity and truth.

Teach me to forgive and to love as You love.

Support my steps and protect me from temptations.

I entrust myself to Your goodness, certain that with You the day will be filled with light.
