Beginning of the Lenten Journey

Thank you for granting me this day that is coming to an end.

Lord Jesus, on this Ash Wednesday, receive my heart that longs to be converted.

I entrust to you those who today feel alone and lost; grant each one your light of hope.

Support families going through difficult times, fill them with peace and unity.

I pray for the Church, that it may be a living sign of mercy and hospitality in the world.

Make me docile and able to renew my journey toward You.

Watch over my rest and that of all those I hold in my heart.

Protect and lift up those who are suffering tonight.

Watch over us.
