Gratitude at Dawn

In the silence of the new morning, the heart opens to the rising light.

I thank you, Lord, for this day that is born and for the gift of life that you renew in me.

For every breath and for the small wonders that happen, I am grateful to you.

Please grant peace and courage to my steps.

Guide my thoughts toward goodness and kindness.
